Open Day - MBRS

In November each year the MBRS opens its doors to the general public.
Numerous volunteers from UQ make the trip out from the mainland to help out on the day and local community groups join in to make the day a success.

2008 Openday Flyer UQ Reef Fest 2008
Saturday, November 22, from 10am-4pm - Programme (TBA)
This year, Open Day at The University of Queensland’s Moreton Bay Research Station celebrates the International Year of the Reef. The day will provide an insight into the rich diversity of coral reefs and coral reef animals that live around North Stradbroke Island and Moreton Bay.
     -Stradbroke Ferries and Sea Stradbroke are providing concessional fares for walk on ferries:
         Adult Return $5.50; Child Return $3.00.
     -Stradbroke Flyer Family Return $50 and group rates available.
2008 Celebration of the Sea Poster The recent marine park zoning review has highlighted the passion people have about Moreton Bay so once again the whole community is joining forces to celebrate the wonders of the region.
