What is the GBRSP?

The Great Barrier Reef Study Program (GBRSP) is a unique offering of field intensive, academic short courses providing students the opportunity to undertake field-based experiential learning in Queensland’s spectacular marine environment.

The courses are offered in the Australian mid-year semester break (June to August), during the northern hemisphere summer, in a 1500 kilometre classroom including the magnificent Great Barrier Reef and Moreton Bay Marine Parks.

Courses are designed by educators who are leaders in their field, to provide students with a rigorous and intellectually stimulating academic marine experience.
