The University of Queensland is committed to providing equity of access for all students to its course offerings.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to participate in the Great Barrier Reef Study Program at the University of Queensland, the following requirements apply:

1. Completion of at least one full-time year of study at an accredited university;
2. Current enrolment at an accredited university or appropriately qualified from the industry, government or research sectors;
3. Average to above-average results in university studies to date (for applicants from the USA, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above on the 4-point scale is required);
4. Meet the English language proficiency; and
5. Meet specific course/subject prerequisites.
