The University of Queensland
   "The ultimate marine education experience"

Course Credit

It is important that short course international students have their home institution approve their intended course to ensure smooth credit transfer.

Before formally applying to the Centre for Marine Studies, students should discuss their intended course with their academic adviser or the Dean of their university who will be able to advise whether it corresponds with degree requirements of the home institution and whether they will receive credit for the courses they intend to enrol in.

Short course students will receive a University of Queensland Certificate, listing the course(s) completed and grade(s) awarded.

The grade awarded will be in accordance with standard UQ Assessment policies. The certificate will be accompanied by a copy of the course profile which includes the assessment criteria.

The Centre for Marine Studies will assist students from international institutions with any questions that may arise relating to course content and credit.

UQ and cross-institutional students are able obtain an academic transcript from The University of Queensland.
